Meet Uche, Founder & Creative Director
Known for transforming any space into a luxurious, unforgettable experience, Uche Ojunta is the creative force behind Designs by Oochay, one of the most sought-after luxury floral and event design studios in Washington, DC metro, Atlanta and nationwide. With an impeccable eye for detail, high-end aesthetics, and calm precision under pressure, Uche has earned the trust of clients across weddings, private celebrations, and corporate events, consistently delivering bespoke floral designs and elevated event experiences that set a new standard in the luxury event industry.
Before founding Designs by Oochay, Uche spent years in management consulting, leading high-value projects in the corporate sector. These experiences sharpened her business acumen, operational expertise, and strategic execution skills, all of which now inform her approach to high-end floral and event design. After designing her own wedding, which wowed her guests, Uche followed her passion for flowers and built a one-of-a-kind luxury floral design company. Today, she serves as CEO of a high-end event design firm recognized among the best in the nation.
A natural mentor and educator, Uche shares her knowledge with event designers and creative entrepreneurs. She regularly contributes as a keynote speaker, industry educator, and mentor, offering insights on business strategy, design innovation, and actionable advice for thriving in the luxury events market.
