Meet Uche,. Founder & Creative Director
Known for her ability to transform any space into a luxurious, unforgettable experience, Uche Ojunta is the creative force behind Designs by Oochay, one of the most sought-after luxury floral and event design studios in Atlanta and nationwide. With an impeccable eye for detail, high-end aesthetics, and calm precision under pressure, Uche has earned the trust of clients across weddings, private celebrations, and corporate events, consistently delivering bespoke floral designs and elevated event experiences that set a new standard in the luxury event industry.
Before founding Designs by Oochay, Uche spent years in management consulting, leading high-value projects in the corporate sector. These experiences sharpened her business acumen, operational expertise, and strategic execution skills, all of which now inform her approach to high-end floral and event design. After designing her own wedding, which wowed her guests, Uche followed her passion for flowers and built a one-of-a-kind luxury floral design company. Today, she serves as CEO of a high-end event design firm recognized among the best in the nation.
A natural mentor and educator, Uche shares her knowledge with event designers and creative entrepreneurs. Where do I start? I came to Uche with a very specific vision for the florals for my May wedding. I can be particular about details, and this was an aspect of the wedding that I was really concerned about. I had an initial conversation with Uche and she put together a proposal based on our discussion with all of my asks. As someone who's very into branding and presentation, let me say that I appreciate the effort that Uche puts in her proposals. I had received some initial proposals from other florists, and Uche's was by far the most polished and aesthetically pleasing. Uche worked with me over the following months to refine every detail and address all of my questions and concerns. She was very professional and transparent throughout the process. Fast forward to the wedding day and WOW! Uche executed the vision to a T plus more. The centerpieces, bouquets, and floral arch were a dream! I still swoon looking at the pictures. Even my most hard to please relatives were raving over her work. I can't thank the DBO team enough for making my wedding so beautiful. You guys are the best!
